CAMPAIGN UPDATE: DEXTER IS PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST

DEXTER IS PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST

On February 4, 2006, Dexter for Congress went from an “Exploratory” effort to the real thing. Dexter announced that he was running for Congress to represent all of the people of Maine. His remarks follow.

About 100 people attended this lively get-together for a pot luck lunch and campaign kickoff. They came from as far away as Washington County, Farmington, Hope, Portland, Peaks Island in Maine, Russia, Germany and Needham, Massachusetts. They came from cities, suburbs, islands, rural areas and places you hardly ever hear about. They ranged in ages ranged from a few months old to over 80 years old. There were from all walks of life: organic farmers, CPAs, homemakers, lawyers, ministers, peace activists, audiologists, students, physicians, chefs, retired people, teachers, access TV managers, non-profit managers, and veterans.

Dexter Kamilewicz has attracted support from all kinds of people of all ages and from all walks of life. Dexter for Congress is a grass roots campaign, a campaign of and for the people – all of the people. We know most people are very unhappy about political leadership today. If you really want a change, join Dexter for Congress for a real change. Dexter Kamilewicz is putting People First!
